Ps4 Pro Lan Cable Keeps Disconnecting

I upgraded to the ps4 pro and my wifi kept dropping. So i extended a lan cat 5 cable to hardwire the ps4 pro from the router and i m still getting the intermittent lost connection message only now it reads my lan connection has been lost. It could be on the router end as well.

What the hell man.

Ps4 pro lan cable keeps disconnecting.

My ps4 is hard wired and every so often it disconnects from the internet and says connect a lan cable and try again. Bad ethernet cable or dust in the port. I m now 100 baffled as to why this is happening to my ps4. 2 points 3 years ago.

Most of the time the cable is damaged. This person found out that either his cable was a little bit defective pulled out a tiny bit and did not keep connection or the ps4 ethernet socket was a tiny bit too deep. So you might try a more expensive cable and if that does not work you might try his fix build up the connector plastic a little bit so that it is held in more tightly.
